Network providers in India fights to keep customers.

There is a power tussle going on in india between the network providers in order for the populace to see them as the most preferred in terms of giving out services.

This started playing out when Jio dashed free offers to its customers inorder to attract low end users and Other network providers who saw this as a business booster started giving out their own prepared plans to keep their loyal customers. Jio said that after the launch of this free offers since September, it received upto 52 million customers in less than 3 months.
The defensive step taken by Airtel and idea was to introduce prepaid data plans with free voice while Vodafone India offered to double customers’ 4G data allotments.
According to GSMA Intelligence, Airtel added 4 million users in Q3 while Vodafone and idea added 2.4 million and 4.3 million respectively.
