A Cheating business Frenchman sues Uber for tipping off wife about affair

A cheating businessman in southern France is suing Uber-a taxi company for sending notifications to his wife on his rides he took to see his secret lover.
According to the man, he requested for an Uber driver from his wife's phone and then logged off.

Despite logging off, he noticed that the app kept on sending notifications to his wife's phone thereby rousing her suspicions. The couple have since divorced. The lawsuit is reportedly worth up to €45m ($48m; £38m).

David-André Darmon who happens to be his lawyer told AFP news agency after the case was lodged at a court in Grasse that "My client was the victim of a bug in an application and the bug has caused him problems in his private life."
From a certified research, it has been proven that the Uber app do have this glitch. As notifications are being sent to any phone used to order an Uber driver despite logging off the account.
